All aboard the weekend train

Who wants low effort blogging? I do! I do!

Yeah, so I’m… in the Express: The Express picked up on my walking around all day without a belt on. For the record nobody noticed, or if they did notice they thought to themselves “you think he knows he’s not wearing a belt? probably not, but I won’t say anything…”

It’s Comcastic: Comcast arrived just minutes before their three hour window expired, and the installation was pretty seamless. Who knew? I still will miss FiOS.

Rock Band nerdiness: Completed solo tour on the guitar. Next up: the frickin drums.

[n]: A bunch of words I made up and gave definitions: I’ve brought over all the I-66tionary posts and made a new page (see the tab up top) for it. New entries will go there.

“Guest blogging”, or “Marissa is just lazy”: I’ve been asked to put in a little work over at The Anti DC by that blog’s intrepid author. It remains to be seen whether she can successfully cajole me into contributing to Get Off The Internet Thursday, but if she is successful you’ll know where to go.

Weekend!: There’s a busy weekend ahead. Dog adoption event (I am not acquiring a dog yet, though), DC United, trip to Target for massive amounts of spending on the new place (a blogger needs silverware and towels and shit), and a couple of trips to the new pad (acceping nominal suggestions) to move in some more stuffs. Have a good weekend, everyone.

  1. I saw your snippet in the Express, you are famous lol………

    have a great weekend

It figures that, of all things, I become famous for not wearing a belt. Well, at least I was wearing pants.

  2. Congrats on being “picked up” by the Express.

And it has been my experience that the drums on Rock Band are extremely difficult. However, I, eh hem, rock… at the guitar. Just sayin…

I always have to get someone else to play the foot peddle for me. It’s like a rub your tummy pat your head thing – just doesn’t work out right for me.

The foot pedal is the bane of my existence. The problem is that you go back and forth between playing it on a drum beat and playing it with no drum beat. It’s difficult to alternate like that.

  3. I wish i could spell pedal….

Evidently your wish has been granted.

  4. Yeah I love how it is the most random things they choose to grab. You want to say “Look! I can really write better more meaningful posts!” – but I guess they’re not so interested in that, huh?

Just wait’ll 24 starts up again. I’ll be all over it.

  5. So are you working with the humane society then?

I don’t know what organization is running the event. Evidently it happens weekly. Really I’m going to see what sort of dogs are on hand and what their adoption process (whoever it is) is.

  6. Two words: three readers.

Sink or swim, Highway, sink or swim.

You might have to sweeten the pot. Besides, I’m not sure which is sink and which is swim.

  7. Congratulations on the Express mention. I’m getting used to your new lateout here. Also congratulations on your new job, your move and your potential pup. Sounds like lots of changes for you. ‘Tis the season.
